Mark Hilpern (G 66-69).

Mark Hilpern died in July 2019, aged 66. He has been described as a ‘colourful character’, who lived an unconventional lifestyle. His business career involved the brokerage on an international basis of superyachts. Aside from this his life embraced extensive continental travel, fast cars, music of all kinds, and, latterly, beekeeping. He entered St Bees School in 1966 following a period at a preparatory school in Macclesfield.
